Professional Biography
Savannah is a Lexington, KY native and has always had an interest in Kentucky agriculture. Savannah is an Agricultural Extension Associate in the University of Kentucky's Department of Agricultural Economics. She works as a Program Associate for the MarketReady Producer Training Program and the UK Center for Crop Diversification. She has been with the Department since July 2020.

Savannah is a University of Kentucky grad with a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics and a minor in Sustainable Agriculture. She has spent the last 8 years working with local food production systems. She specializes in specialty crop marketing and small farm economics. Savannah works with farmers on marketing strategies, exploring and establishing new markets, and diversifying their operations. She works with a variety of specialty crop growers, from vegetables to cut flowers, in a variety of market-readiness levels. Savannah also develops and leads train-the-trainer programming for technical advisors, both in Kentucky and in the Southeast region.
