Professional Biography

Dr. Tyler B. Mark is a Professor of Agricultural Economics at the University of Kentucky, specializing in production economics, farm management, digital agriculture, and the hemp industry. His research has shaped the understanding of farm financial risk, machinery economics, broadband access in agriculture, and the economic viability of emerging crops like hemp.

In addition to publishing widely in leading journals and extension outlets, Dr. Mark has secured competitive grants from USDA and industry partners to support research and outreach. He is a dedicated teacher and mentor, having directed graduate studies and guided award-winning students.
