Speaker: Dr. Dawn Thilmany
Professor of Agricultural Economics, Director of the Northwest and Rocky Mountain USDA Regional Food Center, Co-Director of the Regional Economic Development Institute at Colorado State University

Dawn Thilmany is a Professor of Agricultural Economics, Director of the Northwest and Rocky Mountain USDA Regional Food Center, and Co-Director of the Regional Economic Development Institute at Colorado State University. Her research and outreach focus on food systems and rural economic development, primarily focused on opportunities related to value-added food market supply chains. (Research Interests: Intersection between food systems and rural development, Consumer-driven food markets and supply chains, Evaluating the economic contributions and tradeoffs of ag, food, and rural policy decisions)
